Evelyn De
Morgan née Pickering was one of the most
talented followers of Burne-Jones. Though
the influence of Burne Jones is obvious in
her work, Evelyn de Morgan also had a great degree of
individuality, & her pictures, often highly
decorative have validity as works of art in
their own right. Evelyn de Morgan was married to the
ceramacist William De Morgan
