Camille Pissarro, 1830-1903, was a Danish-French Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist painter. His importance resides in his contributions to both Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Renoir referred to Camille Pissarro paintings as "revolutionary", through his artistic portrayals of the "common man". During the period his art were exhibited, art critic called him the "most real and most naive member" of the Impressionist group.
